Live
Sometimes you've just got to rest during rehearsals. Brian snr relaxes with a nice cup of tea. Rock and roll! Brian snr with keyboard in foreground. We no longer use this one, but it can clearly be heard in the 1st and last tracks of the Visions album. They keyboard, we mean. During a pre gig rehearsal, so the full kit was set up. Notice the hand painted artwork on the front of the bass drum! An atmospheric shot of Brian jnr drumming under the shadows of flying saucers, or were they stand-mounted cymbals? Brian snr belts out a song during rehearsals. Wonder if that Marshall goes to 11... The band during a rehearsal.
Studio
Gabriel and Brian snr study the mysterious Stonehenge in Wiltshire. And where are they now, the little people of Stonehenge? And what would they say to us? If we were here... tonight. Gabriel overlooking the main street in Bonnybridge, where many UFO sightings were reported through the 90s and indeed to this day. Gabriel descends upon the weird and wonderful Silbury Hill in Wiltshire. What is it and why was it built? Even Gabriel wasn't sure... Gabriel and a familiar face from the world of rawk - Nigel Tuffnel from Spinal Tap! How much more rawk can it get? And the answer is "none - none more rawk"... Gabriel at Warminster in Wiltshire - a UFO hotspot during the 60s and 70s. C.E.IV wrote a song about it ('Warminster Night', on the Visions album).
Gabriel
The band catch up with Jenny at Sheffield. Jenny has been a great friend and champion of the band over the years, and has written numerous books on UFOs, which have been a great source of inspiration to C.E.IV. From left: Philip Mantle, Malcolm Robinson, AM, William Moore, Brian jnr and Brian snr at front. One of numerous visits to Phil's house where we could catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Derek Lauder of Aultbea in Wester Ross, during the band's 'Amber Gold Expedition' of 1996 which took them to the area. Derek has witnessed some incredible aerial phenomena, including UFOs and was interviewed during the expedition by Malcolm Robinson of SPI. More info on this site soon! Philip Mantle, author of UFO books and editor of UFO Data magazine, with Brian jnr & Brian snr during a visit. Phil has been a tremendous friend to the band over the years, helping them gain wider recognition within the UFO community.

Brian Jnr, with Chris & Bruce, explore the narrow roadways of the village. Brian Jnr having a kick about outside the front of the Olde Cheese House. The roads were quieter in those days... actually, they still are there! Brian Snr & Bruce playing ever so close to the railway crossing! The sitting room of the Old Cheese House, where we sat and talked about the strange goings on in the area. It probably hadn't changed in about 30 years, but we felt right at home there. The hallway, leading to the sitting room to the left, the kitchen ahead, and to the right, the dreaded narrow stairs that lead to the bedrooms. Brian Snr loved them! Brian Jnr waving from the small back door of the cottage. In the gardens we did some skywatches and hung washings. Another area of the large rear gardens. Brian Snr doing the practical stuff. Behind him you can see the child's play house, which was way too creepy even for us! Bruce, Chris & Brian jnr pass the Three Horseshoes Mall entrance, on the the High Street. Brian Jnr loses his way and checks the local info map - with push lights! Way cheaper than an arcade machine, and much more useful. Brian Jnr back on track on the main street that runs through the town. Across the road on the right can be seen the famous Town Hall. Brian Snr overlooks the town from Battlesbury Hill. Cley hill can be seen feintly in the distance. Brian Jnr & Chris take in the scenery. The band stop off at Stonehenge while on one of their excursions around the county. It was a lot less secure in those days! We should've chipped a bit off... Out on a skywatch in Upton Lovell. We did seem some strange things, and even heard the odd thing too! Brian Snr, Malcolm Robinson (SPI) and Brian Jnr at Laide for the Amber Gold Expedition by C.E.IV & SPI. Night descends on the Ocean View Hotel at Laide, Wester Ross, north east Scotland. The mysterious Priest Island as seen from the hotel. The Cave on the coastline at Laide. A stop off at the Aultguish Hotel, where Malcolm had previously carried out paranormal investigations. Another view of the Aultguish Inn. Malcolm Robinson (SPI), outside the Aultguish Inn. A trip to the beach with UFO witness Derek Lauder of Aultbea, who lives and works in the area. Brian snr & Malcolm relax with a game of pool at the hotel. No comment needed... Filming at Derek's caravan at Aultbea. Malcolm interviews Derek about his UFO sightings in the area. The video will appear on this website soon! Malcolm sums up the expedition so far for the video on the last evening as we look forward to our final skywatch later that night. Brian Jnr & Brian Snr on the rocky beach at Laide as sun sets. Outside the theatre on the first day of Weird 09. Steve was our "stall neighbour" and great company over the two days. Malcolm is lifelong friend. Kevin is the author of 'UFO Warminster: Cradle of Contact', a book which is an absolute must read for anyone interested in the UFO haunted town. The skywatch was just beginning to get into full swing... The mysterious barn that is a monument to all who've ever been to Cradle Hill. Brian snr checks out some of the writings on the barn. Shame we forgot an ink marker... Brian snr with Carole and Malcolm. The Skywatch is going well. We've known Brian for many years and his books on various phenomena continue to fascinate and educate. Nick is into MIBs, so he's alright by us! Joe wanted to take 'Tor home, but we couldn't do that to him. Mike "was there" during the height of the Warminster sightings and has written a great book "Does It Rain In Other Dimensions?" - get it now! Where we stayed over the three nights. A simple but comfortable place with an excellent breakfast! The famous townhall, where public meetings where held in the early days of the Warminster mystery, known as the "thing". Arthur lived here with his family during his time as a journalist and researcher into the Warminster mysteries and UFO sightings. Home of the Fountain Centre, run by Peter & Jane Paget. It was a haven for UFO enthusiasts and researchers visiting the town during the height of the UFO phenomena in Warminster. Brian snr and jnr at the foot of path leading up to the copse at Cradle Hill. Some of the writing and graffiti on the barn at Cradle Hill copse. So, does anyone actually know if the ginger floss is real?
